Hi, I’m Sofi.
I design and build custom WordPress websites that not only look great, but help your business grow, generate leads and give you the confidence to manage your site yourself. Most of my sites are built using WordPress, a powerful and user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) that gives you full control of your content. You can easily update copy and images, add new pages and manage your site navigation without needing a developer. It’s intuitive, scalable and widely supported, which is why it’s trusted by businesses of all sizes around the world.
Every website I create is fully responsive and designed to perform beautifully across all devices, from phones and tablets to high-resolution desktops. The process is collaborative, thoughtful and backed by over a decade of experience in both design and development.

That’s why I focus on building custom themes that are designed around your brief, your goals and your content. While custom themes do require a bit more upfront investment than an off-the-shelf template, they can save time and stress in the long run. You won’t be stuck trying to bend a generic design to fit your content, or dealing with bloated code and third-party plugins that slow your site down or become outdated. Instead, you get a site that looks and works exactly as you need it to, and is built to last.
If you prefer to use a pre-made theme, I also offer setup and customisation services. I can help you install a suitable template, tailor it to your brand, and populate it with your content. This can be a quicker, lower-cost option in some cases, though customisation may still take time depending on your needs.
How a project might run…
Research + Planning
We begin by identifying the main goals of your website, what content is needed, and how it should be structured. This might include a sitemap and simple wireframes to visualise how the pages will work together. We’ll also explore design inspiration, mood boards or references to help establish the visual direction.
WordPress Design
With the structure and style agreed, I’ll create high-fidelity design mockups that show exactly how key pages will look. You’ll have a chance to review and give feedback, and we’ll refine the designs until everything is approved.
WordPress Development
Once signed off, I’ll build your custom WordPress theme, bringing the designs to life in the browser. This includes developing flexible templates and modules that are easy to update. When the site is ready, I’ll send a preview link for testing and final feedback. Once you’re happy, we’ll go live.
Costing
Project costs are based on the time and scope involved. The more complex the features or number of pages, the higher the cost. If you have a brief or a rough idea of what you’re after, I can provide a tailored estimate. Otherwise, we can have a quick chat to figure out what might suit you best.

I manage the entire process from start to finish — from planning and design to development and launch. Because I both design and build, the final result matches your approved designs with no compromises. I’m also on hand for content population, launch support and guidance post-launch.

What is WordPress
WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) that powers over 40% of all websites. It’s popular because it’s flexible, easy to use and widely supported.
With WordPress, you can edit your own site content and imagery, add pages, update menus and more — all from a user-friendly dashboard. My custom themes are designed to make these tasks even easier, using intuitive templates and fields tailored to your site.
While drag-and-drop editors like Elementor or WPBakery are an option, they often introduce complexity or bloat. I prefer to build clean, lightweight templates using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), which help maintain design consistency and make content updates stress-free. If a visual builder is something you need, we can absolutely discuss the best way to integrate that.
WordPress themes
Themes are the design framework of your WordPress website. You can either use a pre-made theme or opt for a bespoke one built from the ground up.
Pre-made themes are quick to install but often come with limitations. They can be harder to customise and may include lots of features you don’t need. A custom theme gives you full control and is built specifically around your brand, content and goals. It’s faster, more lightweight and designed to grow with your business.
